The Ballroom at Carey Lake Rochester Wedding Venue
I met Jody a few years ago at Community Bible Study and we’ve been Facebook friends since then. She’s the kind of person who pops up on your newsfeed as doing things like running marathons and going to Jamaica. More recently she was like, “hey, my next adventure is to run a wedding venue!” And not just any wedding venue – one that needs a little updating.
I had the definite privilege of heading out there to take some “before” pictures. They’ve been working tirelessly to launch the new and updated version of Carey Lake. You can check out their progress on their Facebook page by clicking here.
I can totally see what they see in this place. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful, it’s easy to find, and the ballroom can either be divided for two weddings at a time, or the divider opened for one huge wedding (or any kind of event).
Not sure if the victorian theme is sticking around or not, but I’m guessing probably not.
Or maybe it will be updated with a Victorian Theme? We’ll find out soon! I’m really looking forward to going back out and seeing what they’ve changed.
