Their wedding ceremony took place outside on a beautiful September day.
The wonderful thing about having your ceremony and reception in the same location is that you save a lot of time. We were done with formal images in less than an hour and Fallanne and Colby were free to enjoy their celebration.
The best approach with formal images is to start with the largest group and the youngest children (when there are young kids involved). Once those photos are finished, guests are free to go enjoy themselves while the bride and groom finish up. Wedding photos shouldn’t overrun your wedding day – they should be quick, fun and painless. You can see that Fallanne and Colby had the fun part figured out.
Hickory Ridge had some fantastic backgrounds in a small area, which was perfect for getting a wide variety of images quickly.
A DJ once told me that the party lasts as long as the bride and groom are on the dance floor. These two kept the party alive for a long, long time. It was amazing to be a part of it. Thank you so much Fallanne and Colby for allowing me to share your special day!
